August Update

Hi Everyone. My plan has changed a bit from what I thought was going to happen in my last update. After spending weeks trying to get logistics lined up for the Florida trip I wrote about in my last update, and hitting closed door after closed door, the Lord made it clear the timing was off. I’ll still be doing the trip, but it looks like it’ll be happening in early September now. As I’ve been working on the new timeline, I’ve already encountered several open doors that were closed for August. Please keep the state of Florida in your prayers.

With the trip delayed, the Lord directed me to spend this time focusing on support raising. I’m at approximately 40% of the monthly support I need, and there’s a lot of spiritual warfare around this.

We at CBR have also been doing weekly outreach activities this summer, with our most recent displays being held in the Tri-Cities area of Tennessee/Virginia, and Asheville, NC. God really helped us with both outings. While were in Kingsport we had a mother drive by our signs, then stop and tell us she’d decided to keep her baby! Asheville is an especially dark place and we had a lot of opponents while we were out there, but God protected us from them and kept the atmosphere relatively peaceful. Our staff and volunteers had some really good conversations, and a lot of seeds were planted.
